We offer a wide range of chiropractic treatments designed to help patients manage both acute and chronic pain, as well as address the underlying causes. Our goal is not only to provide lasting relief and comfort, but also to empower patients with the knowledge and tools to take better care of their bodies—helping prevent future pain and injury.
What is chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care focuses on diagnosing and treating issues related to the musculoskeletal system—particularly the spine. Chiropractors use gentle, hands-on spinal adjustments and other techniques to help restore proper alignment, improve mobility, and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Treatments are typically safe and non-invasive, with many patients experiencing relief after just a few sessions.
How does chiropractic care work?
Chiropractors believe that when the spine is properly aligned, the nervous system can function more effectively, allowing the body to perform at its best. Misalignments—often caused by stress, injury, or poor posture—can lead to pain, stiffness, and reduced function. By correcting these imbalances, chiropractic adjustments may help reduce pain, relieve pressure on nerves, and improve overall wellness. Research shows that chiropractic care can positively affect joint health, muscle tension, and nervous system function.
Some of our most frequently utilized treatment options to help facilitate rehabilitation and recovery include:
Chiropractic Adjustment and Manipulation
This consists of manual therapy, performed by hand to the spinal joints or other articulations of the body, including the back, neck, ribs and extremities. Adjustments may also be rendered using the advanced Impulse Adjusting instrument. Chiropractic adjustment is designed to relieve pain, diminish muscle spasms, restore joint function, increase mobility and increase range of motion.
Disc Compression/Flexion Distraction/Cox Therapy/Traction
These related manipulation treatments that are utilized to decompress spinal joints and discs. We use specialized equipment to coordinate hands on treatment with decompression traction to the spine. These techniques are used for treatment of disc problems, facet joint syndrome, lumbar stenosis, scoliosis and spondylolisthesis.
Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Pin and Stretch
These hands-on techniques are applied to areas of muscular pain and tension. They are used to help mobilize the soft tissues and adhesions, and include deep pressure and stretching procedures applied to sensitive points that are commonly found in the muscles.
Joint Mobilization Therapy
This therapy involves a deep stretching movement applied to the joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons and discs. These treatments work to restore mobility, range of motion, relax tight muscles, and help limit disability and pain.
Ergonomic and Mobility Techniques
This patient education regimen includes teaching patients mobility care basics, correct posture principles and specialized stretching and exercises to help prevent and care for pain management. Through individualized instruction patients learn ways to apply self-care treatments at home to help facilitate their rehabilitation and recovery.
Spinal Core Stabilization
These are exercises and stretches, prescribed to help strengthen the muscles that support the spine for improved control of body movements. Stabilization exercise works to help relieve pain, improve flexibility and limit the chance for re-injury and further bouts of pain.
Kinesiology Taping / Rock Tape
Kinesiology taping, often referred to by the popular brand name Rock Tape, is a therapeutic technique designed to support muscles and joints without restricting movement. Used by athletes and wellness practitioners alike, this elastic tape is applied strategically to the body to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and aid in postural correction. At our clinic, we integrate kinesiology taping with acupuncture and bodywork to enhance recovery from injuries, support alignment, and provide lasting relief from pain and discomfort. Whether you’re dealing with chronic tension, a sports injury, or simply want extra support during physical activity, kinesiology taping offers a non-invasive, effective solution.
Functional Neurology
Functional neurology is a cutting-edge approach that evaluates and enhances the way the nervous system communicates with the rest of the body. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, this method looks at the root causes of imbalances in the brain and nervous system. Through gentle, targeted therapies—including acupuncture, eye movements, balance exercises, and sensory stimulation—we help retrain neural pathways to promote optimal function. Patients with issues such as migraines, dizziness, brain fog, post-concussion symptoms, or neurological disorders often find relief and improved function through this approach. Functional neurology is an empowering path toward greater awareness, balance, and brain-body connection.
Cupping
Cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique that has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine to promote circulation, release muscle tension, and detoxify the body. Using glass, silicone, or plastic cups, a gentle suction is applied to the skin, creating a vacuum effect that draws stagnant blood and toxins to the surface. This process stimulates fresh oxygenated blood flow, reduces inflammation, and helps the body heal naturally. Many clients experience immediate relief from muscle tightness, back and neck pain, and even respiratory conditions. Cupping can be a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating complement to acupuncture and is customized to each patient’s specific needs and comfort level.
